The race-proven Exploro range gives you the speed you’re used to on asphalt and an additional advantage on wind-swept gravel tracks. 3 FLAVORS OF EXPLORING The Exploro PRO/TEAM bikes all use the latest generation of the original Exploro frame. It’s a great choice for a high-end, highly-versatile gravel bike at an affordable price. The Exploro RACEMAX is the absolute fastest gravel bike possible, aero optimized for for 35-42mm WAM (Width As Measured) tires but for particularly tough rides or long trips it even fits up to 61mm tires. The Exploro ULTRA is designed to go fast on the worst possible terrain, aero optimized for 55-61mm tires (but of course you can spec a narrower tire too). It also combines an aero seattube with a round seatpost so you can use any 27.2 round, dropper or suspension post. TWEAK YOUR TIRE Gravel riding is all about tire choice and the 3T Exploro models fit the widest possible tires, up to 61mm.But each model is optimized for a different purpose. The Exploro PRO/TEAM is a Jack of all trades, the RACEMAX is an all-out speed machine while the ULTRA can conquer the toughest terrain faster than any other gravel bike. From the start, 3T's goal for the Strada was the best aerodynamics AND comfort. Because without comfort, you won’t be able to maintain your aero position. While pushing the limits of aerodynamics and comfort in every detail, the Strada has two clearly distinct zones: Speed zone: the front half of the bike, with its ultra-deep yet narrow headtube, wrap-around downtube and bladed fork. Comfort zone: the curved seattube, slender seatstays and long exposed seatpost provide the ultimate comfort while also helping aerodynamics Tires provide more compliance than any other part of the bike. Wider tires are better at reducing shocks from cracks, curbs, cobbles and potholes, They even have lower rolling resistance, because their shorter contact patch requires less bending by the casing. In addition, wider tires reduce fatigue caused by high-frequency road buzz. But aerodynamics are also important on such rides, and the Strada remains the first aero bike engineered around wider tires (just like the Discus wheel range is engineered specifically around wider tires). The ALVX AF+ is the latest version of Alex Donnachie’s signature ALVX frame. Featuring the same super tech geometry and ultra short rear end, but now with an updated invest cast chainstay yoke which maintains the tire clearance as well as creating a more rigid rear triangle and it also looks pretty sick. - Invest cast chainstay yoke which creates more clearance for the tire for when your wheel is slammed, because this part is cast and heat treated it strengthens the rear end of the frame by stiffening it up - 7mm thick invest cast dropouts to provide good support for your axle, and the small shape has been designed for grinding meaning there's no overhang to catch on ledges or rails,.
