Mavic Cosmic Pro Carbon SL UST Disc

The Cosmic Pro Carbon SL UST Disc Rear Wheel is high-performance disc brake carbon all-round wheel that features a new, taller 3K carbon fiber 45mm rim shape that minimizes drag and was made wider to optimize the aero performance and stability of 25mm or wider tires. The 19mm internal width is complemented by a max external width of 28mm. Add in Mavic's UST technology, widely considered the most user-friendly tubeless road setup on the market, with a disc-brake specific build, and you have the most advanced, high-performance wheel for speed, puncture resistance and smooth-riding comfort on the road.

The updated wheel system is now engineered with the aero spokes that feature a patented elliptical shape. Mavic is also using their Instant Drive 360 freehub system. Combined with toher refinements, the overall weight has been reduced to 835 grams with no compromises to stiffness or strength. With the rim engineered specifically for disc brakes, the front spokes are crossed on each side of the hub to transfer the braking load to the ground without any flexing or wheel wobbling.

The 12/142mm thru-axle system is compatible with a 9mm QR endcap set-up. The lightweight, stout machined rear hub features an oversized alloy axle, a Center Lock disc rotor interface, and adjustable QRM+ sealed cartridge bearings. The 24 straight pull, aero, double butted steel spokes are laced Isopulse (2x non-drive, radial drive) with external ABS alloy nipples. for ideal strength, balance of drivetrain and braking force needs, and proper offset alignment. The Rear wheel-tire system comes with a 700x25 Yksion Pro UST tire that provides a simple, hassle-free tubeless road setup with high rolling efficiency and maximum grip in all weather.
