The ideal sock for demanding rides in warmer climates, where breathability and targeted support are most crucial. To create an ultralight sock that’s as comfortable as it is supportive, Assos took a hard look at the yarns themselves. Testing in warm-weather conditions eventually led to Hydrogen, a buttery-soft microfiber that’s blended with Lycra to deliver a light compressive hold along the foot, ankle, and lower leg using a seamless construction. From there they targeted the arch, wrapping it with a ribbed band of airy mesh for further support and boosted breathability, along with a contrasting band along the Achilles for a clean finish.

Covering the toes, heel, and achilles, these high performance cycling socks are from the same Stratagon fabric employed in their jackets and provides an additional line of defense to fend off windchill. The second part of the sock is composed of proprietary thermal yet breathable RXQ fabric. With a brushed internal surface and crisscross structure, this imparts additional warmth without adding volume to ensure a trim fit.
